While average house prices in Bournemouth rose by 7% in 2007, the property market here experienced a fall in homes coming to the market, with the total number of sales down 4% on the previous year. The fall in sales was reflected across all property types, with terraced
homes experiencing the biggest decrease, with the number of sales down almost 15% in 2007. However, the average price finished the year on £222,007, up from £207,381 in 2006.
